How are you holding up since your first 'what the fuck was that' incident?

Readjusting to reality's been a bit rough, but otherwise I've been doing well enough. Truly, though, what in bloody fuck was that?

And are you all right?

I've been here two years and I assure you, that was probably the wildest thing we've gone through. Strange things have happened, but yeah, nuts level.

I'm fine. A bit angry about being stuck back here again and not free to roam, probably the worst part.

Yes, it's been something of a kick in the head to go from being able to go wherever I pleased to having to stay in one place again. You'd think I'd be more used to it.

[Since he mostly just stayed in London once he got there, but Jacob hadn't had his movements restricted to one territory back then.]

Really, what surprised me more was that I forgot my sister so easily. That was...quite terrifying.

We used to not be able to go to Aquila or Libertas so we were trapped even more than we are now. But I'm not going to be able to visit any of the Fey now. Bullshit.

Yeah, I forgot pretty much everyone in my life. My father, all my friends. I guess if all that happens again, we just have to hold onto it tighter.

No real way to get around it for now? Besides Nocwich and the Horizon, really.

Trust me, I'll hold onto my memory as tightly as I can. As much as I liked the power, some of the person I became—I'd much rather avoid that fate.

I guess it could've been a 'be careful what you wish for' vision for some people. Power in exchange for parts that we wouldn't ordinarily want to lose.

But it's true enough, what you've said. All that power isn't worth forgetting the people you love so dearly, or the principles you hold yourself to.

I think we should be allowed to whine all we want, something hijacked our bodies and brains for three weeks. Or eight hundred years, depending.

I lost someone very close to me not that long ago. While I was fine with my god life, it wasn't so bad, losing my memory of her was unacceptable. I'd trade it all for our time together.
